Painshill Residency
I am Poet in Residence at Painshill Park in Surrey, supported by Arts Council England. The Find What You Find Poetry Trail, in place from July to September 2025, showcased work from my wonderful workshop poets as well as my own writing. Painshill Park in Cobham, Surrey is a beautiful 18th century landscape garden. Lost for years and rediscovered in the 1980s, in its new lease of life it is a magical place full of dramatic views and follies, and my favourite place to be. I spend at least one day a month writing there and run poetry workshops on a regular basis.
Find What You Find is the concept for the Painshill summer poetry trail 2025. It was designed to blend into the landscape as well as inspire people to see Painshill in a different way.
