Your workshops were highly motivational, inspiring and pitched at the right level.
— Tiffin Girls' School
Nia is a true professional and all 150 of our students were engaged from start to finish during her workshops. She has such an inspiring personality and I had nothing but positive feedback from staff and students.

Thank you for really amazing workshops. Children thoroughly enjoyed themselves, as well as staff too! You have put so much work into the days and I just wanted to express my thanks for such a personal experience.

School visits

  • One-off workshops

Standalone workshops for whole classes or small groups. These can be tailored to slots lasting between 50 mins - 2 hours. A standalone workshop would work well as part of a curriculum enrichment day. Students would read poems from a variety of poets and use these to inspire their own writing in a fun and supportive atmosphere.

  • Poetry Clubs

Poetry Club at my school is the best hour of my week. I have limited availability for weekly or fortnightly 1 hour after school sessions which would run in half-term or term blocks. Students would write a poem in each session and produce an anthology at the end of the term.

  • SEMH intervention - poetry for wellbeing

With so many young people now struggling with their mental health, poetry can be a positive force for wellbeing. I can deliver small group sessions designed to boost students’ self-esteem and help them express their feelings in a safe space. I have extensive experience of making these sessions accessible across the ability range and for students with all types of SEND.
